Julia Hughes - writing thrilling adventures - time after time after time.
As you've probably noticed, this site is currently going through changes ... hopefully in a few weeks time I'll announce, "Look! A beautiful butterfly" or words to that effect :)
All my books (with working links) will be here ... until then, like life itself, this site is a work in progress.
The Griffin cryer's new cover
... is also a work in progress. So far, I'm enchanted with the preliminary art. As a Londoner, I've always imagined griffins to resemble those great stone statues dotted around the capital. They're not the convention griffins of legend. These beasts have teeth. Maybe the Victorians who created these statues had never seen a griffin before. Or maybe they had.
I've sent over a few images of the iconic London griffins to the wonderful Christabelle, of Deviant Art, and I hope she can work her magic and breathe life into my daydreams, but before then, I'm so excited and thrilled with this artwork that I simply couldn't wait to share with my readers. I think the image of Frankie summoning the griffin from another dimension is just perfect, and hope you agree.
Christabelle's portfolio is here on Deviant Art, and she also shares with her fans on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/christabellelamort.official/
